Man ‘seriously injured’ after being punched in the face on Nottingham night out

A man suffered ‘serious injuries’ after being punched in the face on a night out in Nottingham city centre.

Police said it happened on Talbot Street at around 2.10am on Friday, September 15.

The victim was walking on the street when a stranger approached him and attacked him.

Officers say he was left seriously hurt, but released no further details.

The attacker was white, aged 19-20, of an athletic build, and had frizzy brown or tan coloured hair tied in a pony tail.

He was wearing a black or dark blue sweatshirt, with blue jeans and black trainers.
