People living in Edwinstowe have rubbished a campaign by a far-right group alleging groups of migrants are camping in Sherwood Forest.

Britain First published a Facebook video showing activists posting leaflets through letterboxes carrying claims there were migrants living in tents and shelters in the forest.

The claims first appeared online and were reported by a local and national newspaper, before local people began disputing them.

And Nottinghamshire County Council, which manages the forest, told Notts TV News there are no such camps.
