Nottingham business to cycle to raise money for Cancer Research UK

Fifteen dedicated cyclists from Innes England will take part in a bike ride, setting off from Nottingham city centre, this summer to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Earlier this month, the firm raised over £400 for Cancer Research UK during its ‘Easter Challenge’ which included a competition between the firm’s three offices (Derby, Nottingham and Leicester) to have the best Easter-themed decorated office and the best fancy-dressed staff.

Innes England has already committed to organising a number of fundraising events throughout the first half of this year including monthly dress-down days, a business squash tournament and the bike ride.

We are thrilled to be Innes England’s charity of the year and I look forward to hearing how the team tackles what are a number of fun yet physically demanding sporting events

Rebecca Elphick, local fundraising manager for Cancer Research UK

Matthew Hannah, a director at Innes England said: “I’m delighted so many of the team have signed up for demanding ride. It will be a great team challenge for a very deserving charity.”

Tim Garratt, managing director at Innes England added: “Cancer Research UK undertakes vital work and we are proud to support the charity. I hope everyone digs deeps to support our efforts throughout the year.”
