Local fashion designer has just finished making a set of corsets for famous pop star Kylie Minogue.
Susi Henson, founder of Eternal Spirits corsetry and lingerie has just finished producing two corsets for the Australian born singer, Kylie Minogue.
The corsets are believed to be needed for a promotional video for Kylie’s Christmas album.
Ms Henson, 38 received an email Monday morning and was given only a week to produce the two corsets.
“I had to shuffle my appointments for that week around – I had a few understanding brides that moved their appointments so I could finish the pieces.”
The two corsets were sent out by Thursday in time for the fitting. One was designed in red velvet and the other in black satin.
“It was quite tough as I only received measurements via email and never did a fitting.” The 38-year-old said that not being able to do a proper fitting was the hardest part – that became her biggest worry.

“When I got the news back that they fitted perfectly which was great. Apparently she absolutely loved them especially the personalised labels I had embroidered into the back.”
The two corsets were the Waspie design or more traditionally known as the ‘waist cincher’ – an under bust corset which makes the waist appear physically smaller.
With ten years of success behind it, the Nottinghamshire based lingerie boutique has seen its corsets shown globally in major fashion events, including London Fashion Week and the Cannes Film Festival.
As well as Kylie Minogue, the corsets have been worn by a range of international celebrities, including Leona Lewis, Girl Aloud, The Saturdays and Britney Spears.
The designs are made from the finest quality fabrics and use traditional Victorian corsetry methods.
