Nottingham Forest have announced Nicklas Bendtner has left the club to join Norwegian champions Rosenborg for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old Danish striker scored twice in 17 appearances during his time at the City Ground and leaves ahead of the Norwegian season starting in April.
His two goals came in two home league games; in a 1-1 draw against Fulham and a 2-1 win against Newcastle.
Nottingham Forest thanked Bendtner for his efforts and wished him well for the future.
