The exhibition of aerial view photos from around the UK on display on Station Street has been extended until June 18 due to ‘enormous popularity’.

The exhibition features images of Nottingham Castle, Goose Fair, the Old Market Square and Nottingham Forest’s City Ground.

It also has some of the UK’s iconic landscapes and landmarks.

Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture Councillor Dave Trimble said: “Newly-pedestrianised Station Street is quickly building a reputation for public art, with the innovative Line of Light poetry installation and now this fabulous street exhibition.

“We have had some amazing feedback from visitors about the exhibition which is why we grabbed the opportunity to keep hold of it for a little longer.”

The Royal Geographical Society created the gallery Britain from the Air where the photos of Nottingham originate.

Director of the Royal Geographical Society, Dr. Rita Gardner said: “Britain from the Air provides a fantastic opportunity to see Britain’s natural and human landscapes from a unique perspective and to explore the social, economic and environmental forces that shaped them.”
