Nottingham Rowing Club competes against world’s best at Henley Regatta

Nottingham Rowing Club A coxless four at Henley Regatta

Nottingham Rowing Club is taking part in the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta, the most famous rowing event in the world.

Nottingham Rowing Club arrives at the small Oxfordshire town with two teams, A & B and throughout the four day event they will take on the best teams from across the world, with entries coming from places like France, Norway and America.
Nottingham Rowing Club A has managed to win their heat, beating Irish club Lady Elizabeth Boat Club in the Wyfold Challenge Cup for coxless fours (four rowers with no cox).

Nottingham Rowing Club B, on the other hand was beaten by New Zealand team Petone Rowing Club, in the same competition.

The club has also qualified for the Britannia Challenge Cup for coxed fours.
