Nottingham wrestling centre celebrates 15 years of creating life-changing confidence
By Tommy Bonnet
A Nottingham wrestling centre which has helped members make it onto the world stage is celebrating its 15th birthday.
House of Pain prides trying to buck the trend of the cost of living crisis so people on low incomes can attend. Tickets to shows typically cost just £7.
The wrestling company finds and trains talent through its own development programme, run by former professional wrestler Paul “Stixx” Grint.
Paul says it gives people the chance to live a childhood dream – all while busting stress and building confidence.
House of Pain alumni include Gabe Kidd – competing in Wrestle Dynasty, one of the biggest events in world wrestling.
