Former Olympic gold medal swimmer Rebecca Adlington from Mansfield, has shared her joy after giving birth to a baby girl.
The Mansfield born, 26-year-old broke the good news to the public that she had given birth to her first child.
Rebecca and husband Harry Needs posted on Twitter after the birth to share their joy over the new addition to the family.

The happy couple tied the knot back in September last year, after the swimmer retired.
