Nottingham’s own Sleaford Mods have been included in the lineup for this year’s Glastonbury festival.

The duo join 85 other acts in a wave of performers announced by organisers for this year’s festival at Worthy Farm from June 21 until June 25.

Sleaford Mods join headliners Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran with Katy Perry due to play the festival for the first time.

Notts TV gave the duo’s new album English Tapas four stars out of five.

Radiohead will perform on Friday with former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters headlining on Saturday.

Ed Sheeran will close out the the festival on Sunday.

Bee Gees singer Barry Gibb is expected to play in a Sunday evening slot, similar to when Dolly Parton performed in 2014 and Lionel Richie did in 2015.

Tickets for the last Glastonbury until 2019, because of a fallow year where ground is left idle during the growing season, sold out in under an hour.

88 were announced but acts Blossoms and Julia Jacklin have been reportedly removed from the list of acts performing.
