Splendour Festival will be returning for the summer of 2025, on the grounds of Wollaton Park

Splendour Festival has announced its widely anticipated return to Wollaton Park in July 2025.

The music event, coming back for the first time since 2023, will run on the weekend of Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20.

The festival is well-known for hosting massive acts including Noel Gallagher, Anne-Marie, Craig David, Kaiser Chiefs, Sugababes, The Vaccines and Sam Ryder.

The 2025 announcement comes after the event was cancelled for summer 2024, due to delays in negotiations with Nottingham City Council.

However, in June, a five-year £11m contract between the annual festival and the council was agreed, guaranteeing the event until 2029.

More than 30,000 music fans are set to join celebrations at the historic park, which has been home to Splendour since 2007.

Claire Ward, Mayor of the East Midlands said, “I can’t wait to see the city come alive again next summer!

“Splendour not only brings incredible live music and entertainment to the beautiful grounds of Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, but also showcases the creativity and vibrancy of our community.”

“Beyond the joy it brings to residents and visitors alike, Splendour plays a vital role in supporting our local economy.

“Boosting our hospitality sector, providing a platform for local businesses, and contributing to Nottingham’s reputation as a destination for world-class events.”

Local actor Vicky McClure, who performed on the main stage with her Our Dementia Choir at the 2023 festival, also welcomed the return.

She said: “Splendour is back! It’s that happy time in the Nottingham calendar when we all get together, sing and dance in the best park on earth, can’t wait!”

Tickets for the event are priced from £85, with an additional 10 per cent Nottingham City Residents discount available for locals.

Super Early Bird tickets will be on pre-sale from 11am Friday 27 September, with the general sale following at midday.

Children under 10 are eligible for free tickets, with cheaper tickets also available for those aged 11-17.

Today’s announcement focused on confirmation of the 2025 return. Artist announcements are expected at a later date.
