Notts County have confirmed a date and away ticket allocation for their FA Cup third round trip to Chelsea – if they beat Peterborough United in the replay.

The Magpies will travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday January 8 with kick-off at 3pm if they overcome Peterborough in the second-round replay on Tuesday December 20.

Notts had to confirm their allocation of away tickets for the tie today (Thursday December 8) which has been agreed at 3,000.

Our allocation will satisfy Notts fans who wish to attend

Notts chief executive Jason Turner said: “Having discussed the options available to us and having taken into account our previous away support at similar matches, we believe an allocation of 3,000 tickets will enable us to satisfy those Notts fans who wish to attend this potential fixture.

“The club were offered 1,500, 3,000 or 6,000 tickets on a guaranteed sale basis, with any unsold tickets to be paid for by the club at the full adult price. We, therefore, believe our decision to commit to 3,000 is correct.”

Tickets will be priced as £30 for adults, £15 for 65 and over and £15 for under 20.
