Notts Police launch murder investigation following ‘suspicious death’ of 14-year-old boy

Nottinghamshire Police have launched a murder investigation following the ‘suspicious death’ of a 14-year-old boy.

Officers were called to Tenbury Crescent in Aspley at around 10pm on Thursday (April 20) to a report that a male had collapsed and was believed to be suffering from a cardiac arrest.

The 14-year-old was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre by an ambulance where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives investigating the case have arrested a 17-year-old on suspicion of murder; he remains in police custody.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Tenbury Crescent on April 20 or who has any information to assist the investigation.
