Notts Says: How good are your football skills?

Just under four weeks ago, Notts County Ladies folded with immediate effect just two days before the start of the season.

Owner and chairman Alan Hardy had hoped to restructure six-figure HMRC debts inherited from Ray Trew and fund ongoing projected losses this season of around £500,000.

Despite weeks of negotiations with lawyers, HMRC and the FA, Hardy called time on his plans to save the Ladies set-up.

Speaking yesterday on Notts Tonight, interim chair of Sport Nottinghamshire Mel Berry said: “County have three really strong under-12 teams and Alan Hardy’s vision is to turn those young girls into homegrown talent as part of a team being developed by the club.”

So we’ve been out and about testing how good your football skills are.
