Ollie Hynd wins silver in Rio Paralympics and sets new personal best

Hynd is from Kirkby-in-Ashfield and is the younger brother of fellow Paralympic champion Sam Hynd.
Yet another medal for a Nottinghamshire athlete, last night 21-year-old Ollie Hynd finished second in the 100m backstroke event and added a silver medal to his already impressive collection.
The Kirkby-in-Ashfield set a new personal best of 1:04.46 but could not catch Chinese Paralympian Zhou Cong, who set a new world record of 1:02.90 to go with his newly acquired gold medal.
Ollie, who has muscular dystrophy, has already won one medal in Rio. He took gold in the 400m S8 freestyle and managed to set a world record of his own in that event.
