The operator for the cinema at a redeveloped Broadmarsh shopping centre has been announced.
The Light Cinemas will open a nine screen cinema as part of a transformation of the area.
The providers have branches open in Bolton, Cambridge, New Brighton, Thetford, Walsall and Wisbech and will add Nottingham to their roster.
This follows the news that £63 million is being invested into projects in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire area as part of the annual budget announcement including into the Broadmarsh Centre and a proposed new tram stop.
International retail company intu confirmed the redevelopment will go ahead despite reporting a huge fall in profit in February.
