Our plans for broadcasting during the coronavirus outbreak

We know the next few weeks and months are going to be really hard for lots of people across Notts. We’re aiming to bring everyone accurate, up-to-date local and national information on the coronavirus outbreak on our social media, website and in our daily live news and chat show, Ey Up Notts.

The programme will be live in your living rooms at 5.30pm every week night – switch us on via Freeview 7 and Virgin 159, to see our new regular community shout out, explaining what people are doing and where, to help people in need.

The channel will keep on Championing Notts – and, as ever, only broadcasting fact.

We’ll also be running your special thank you messages to people working on the front line – NHS staff, emergency workers and others who are doing a great job keeping things going and helping those who need it most.

If you know someone going the extra mile in the NHS or similar – record a short selfie video saying who they are and what they do, along with your message for them, and send it to us. We’ll use it in our regular front line workers thank-you slot.

Send it to us via our Facebook page, Tweet us, or Instagram it. Or you can email us on [email protected].

For now we’ll keep on broadcasting 24/7 and while Ey Up Notts is going to be on every day, some of our other regular new programmes might take a break for the time being.

We’ll be broadcasting some of our best shows again – and everything is available for free to view any time in our on demand service on our website.

Elsewhere, we’re working on new ideas and online broadcasts to bring you some great new programming even in these tricky times.

So have you made a great music video? Are you running an online broadcast somewhere? A class or instructional session via video? We’d love to hear from you – contact us again on socials or email [email protected].
