Police appeal after woman seriously injured in collision outside King’s Mill Hospital

Police have issued an appeal for information after a woman was left with serious injuries following a collision with a car outside King’s Mill Hospital.
Officers were called to the hospital, near Sutton-in-Ashfield, at around 11:40am on Monday (February 17) after an incident in the drop off area near the main entrance.
Following a collision with a car, a woman in her 60s was taken into the hospital’s Emergency Department.
No arrests were made, and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to speak to officers.
Police are now appealing to the public for any information on the collision.
DC Liah Lane, of Notts Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and the pedestrian involved remains in hospital with serious injuries.
“It is important anyone with any information or dashcam footage which could help with our inquiries gets in touch with police.
“Services at the hospital are not affected by this incident and I’d like to thank staff and visitors for their cooperation and patience while our investigations took place.”
