An 11-year-old boy is still in a serious condition two days after being hit by a car in Top Valley.
Police launched an appeal for witnesses after he was struck by a white Vauxhall Corsa on Monday at around 3.25pm.
It happened on Top Valley Way at the junction with Hucknall Road and the boy was taken to the Queens Medical Centre.
A spokesman for Notts Police said on Wednesday afternoon the boy is still in hospital and described his condition as “serious”.
They repeated the appeal for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
