Police charge 11 men over alleged Sneinton drugs conspiracy

Eleven men have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs in Nottingham.

The men were arrested in a Notts Police operation earlier this year as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs in Sneinton.

Nine of them have each been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis between the May 11 2015 and the April 3 2016, and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 21.

They are;

  • Fasal KHAN, 24, of St Stephens Road, Nottingham
  • Jameel KHAN alias Ali MAHMOOD, 33, of St Stephens Road, Nottingham
  • Gulham MIR, 29, of Lilac Grove, Beeston, Nottingham
  • Daniel GREENWOOD, 25, of no fixed address
  • Aqib SHAZAD, 31, of Ena Avenue, Nottingham
  • Shiban AHMED, 24, Stockhill Circus, Nottingham
  • Sojjad MIAH, 31, of Hardstaff Road, Nottingham
  • Kasim AFTAB, 25, of Oakdale Road, Nottingham
  • Thomas COPSON 28, of Neston Drive, Nottingham

Also appearing on the same date is Yasser KHAN, 34, of Beauvale Road, Meadows, Nottingham, who has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis between October 6 and 9 2015

A 25-year-old man has been reported for summons for conspiracy to supply cannabis and will be charged when he appears at court, again on July 21.
