Police cordon in St Ann’s after 16-year-old boy stabbed and taken to hospital

A police cordon has been put up on Ransom Road in St Ann’s after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed and taken to hospital.

Officers were called to the incident at around 7.50 am this morning (Monday May 14); his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to the incident.

Nottinghamshire Police have put a cordon in place which has closed part of Ransom Road and the entrance to Coppice Park with traffic being diverted.

Enquiries are ongoing with anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information asked to call Notts Police on 101.
