Police find a crucial witness to a crash that killed a cyclist on Middleton Boulevard.
Sally Shalloe, 52, of Barton Lane, Attenborough, died after her bicycle collided with a motorcyclist close to the junction of Wollaton Road and Middleton Boulevard just after 7.30am on Tuesday 21 April.
The witness helped Ms Shalloe and the motorcyclist after the collision but left once health workers on their way to work stopped to administer first aid.
Police have already spoken to 30 witnesses but it is hoped that this person will be key to understanding how Ms Shalloe, who worked as a research fellow at the University of Nottingham, lost her life.
The 31-year-old motorcyclist involved in the crash is in a critical condition in Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre.
The investigation continues and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 94 of Tuesday 21 April.
