Police launch appeal after 18-year-old is stabbed in the leg in St Ann’s

Police are looking for witnesses after an 18-year-old was stabbed in the leg in St Ann’s.

The incident happened as the teenager was walking along St Bartholomew’s Road, towards Thorneywood Mount at around 10:35pm on Tuesday (February 21).

A vehicle approached the victim and offenders, armed with knives, got out and stabbed the victim in the leg before driving away.

The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre and was released after treatment on Wednesday (February 22).

Anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 881 of 21 February 2017.
