Police are looking for a man who offered a woman money in return for a sexual act in West Bridgford last year.

It comes after Notts Police became the first force in the UK to class harassment of women, including some incidents of misogyny, as hate crimes.

Now they are looking for the man who offered a woman cash on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford in connection with a ‘misogynistic hate crime’.

Both had been travelling on the number 1 bus on Monday, October 3, 2016 and after getting off outside County Hall at 5.20am the man made the approach and then followed her for a short distance.

Officers released CCTV pitures of a man they want to talk to in connection with the investigation.

Notts Police say examples of misogyny can include unwanted sexual advances and physical or verbal assault.

Police described the man they want to speak to in connection with the incident as “white, with light brown spikey hair and a big nose”.

He was wearing a red Adidas jacket, flip flops and was carrying a large bag.
