Detectives are trying to trace a car spotted in the area of a stabbing on Alfreton Road early Saturday morning.
The stabbing happened at around 3.30am following a fight on Alfreton Road, near the junction with Beckenham Road.
One man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre with stab injuries that aren’t suspected to be life-threatening.
Police have made two arrests following the incident and are looking for a silver VW Golf last seen in the area at the time of the attack. The car may have a damaged windscreen.
Alfreton Road was closed between Hartley Road and Gregory Boulevard on Saturday morning following the incident.
