Police are investigating an attempted robbery of a woman in her 60s in Arnold.
The victim was walking in St Mary’s Close on Monday, December 7 at around 6.45pm when she was approached from behind by a man who tried to take her handbag.
The man fled immediately when the victim began to scream loudly.
Police are looking for a man described as white and of medium build. He was wearing a woolly hat or a hood with a bobble on it as well as dark clothing.
Anyone in the area at the time who saw someone matching the description is asked to call Notts Police on 101, quoting incident number 212.
