Hucknall teen nominated for award opens up about his attempted suicide – 26.04.17

A teenager from Hucknall, who’s battled ADHD and learning difficulties has, for the first time, described how he tried to take his own life. Kieran Ford’s always found it difficult to remain in mainstream schools and, at times, has had violent outbursts at home. Now though, he says a catering course at his local college has helped turn his life around, and he’s been nominated in the County Council’s 4Uth awards.
