Robin Hood is taking two other international legends on an unusual three-day tour of Nottingham.
He has welcomed the Pied Piper of Hamelin, actor Michael Boyer, and Switzerland’s William Tell, actor Sepp Steiner, to celebrate International Robin Hood day on Saturday.
This is the first time the three have met together and they have certainly already been making their presence known.
Robin Hood said: “I’m very pleased and proud to welcome the Pied Piper of Hamlin and the official William Tell who have come down to help Robin Hood week.
“We are showing them around the city doing some storytelling and generally getting our cities together.
“We are forming a ‘legion of legends’ to have closer ties with all of them for tourism and closer cultural links for years to come.”

All of the actors have each been portraying their characters for more than twenty years and have been looking forward to meeting for some time.
Hedwig, the wife of William Tell, said: “We are very very pleased to be here even though we had trouble with the customs yesterday!
“We are telling people in Switzerland and showing pictures of Nottingham on what’s here.
“I can’t wait to get some fish and chips in England!”
