Second man charged in connection with stabbing of 19-year-old man in Lenton

A second man has been charged by Nottinghamshire Police in connection with the stabbing of a 19-year-old man on Albert Grove in Lenton.

Dejarn McLeod, 18, of Weave Close in Nottingham has been charged with affray following the incident which happened on Albert Grove at around 6am on November 1.

He has been released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on December 7.

Lea Reece Anderson, 22, of Albert Grove appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday November 8) where he was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and being in possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on December 6.

The victim of the stabbing remains in a serious condition at the QMC.
