A 19-year-old man has admitted stabbing Martin Maughan to death in Sneinton.
Ben Richardson, of Main Road, Gedling, pleaded guilty to manslaughter by loss of control, accepting he caused the fatal stab injury to 27-year-old Mr Maughan on December 10 2016.
Police and an ambulance were called to a home in West Walk, where they found Mr Maughan with a stab wound. He died as a result of his injuries a short time later.
Richardson appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday (July 24).
After pleading guilty he was remanded into custody and will be sentenced at the same court on October 17.
