The Killers announce Nottingham date as part of their UK and Ireland tour

American rock band The Killers have announced a date they will play at the Motorpoint Arena as part of their UK and Ireland tour later this year.

The Killers will play at the Arena on November 23 with tickets going on sale next Friday (July 14) at 9am on general release.

The tour follows the release of their fifth album ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, which is due out later this year.

Mr Brightside is currently in the Official UK Top 100 following its release in 2003, sitting at number 69 in the charts.

Their debut album, Hot Fuss, came out a year later and the band have since released three albums – Sam’s Town, Day & Age and Battle Born.

The Killers have won four NME Awards, for Best International Band in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2013, a BRIT Award for Best International band in 2006 and a MTV Europe Music Award for Best Rock Group in 2006.

The band features Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr who have all been with The Killers since 2002.
