Three men arrested on suspicion of murder after man dies in park and ride collision

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died following a collision at the Forest Rec Park and Ride in Nottingham.

Police were called to an incident at the car park off Gregory Boulevard at around 12.30am on Tuesday (October 23).

A man had been involved in a collision and was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Officers say three men, aged 18, 23 and 25, were arrested this morning (October 23) on suspicion of murder. They remain in police custody.

The park and ride was closed and taped off on Tuesday, although the tram stop was still open.

A Notts Police spokesman said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and the park and ride will remain closed while our investigations continue. The trams will be unaffected.”
