Three people from Leicester have been charged with kidnap after a man was allegedly dragged from a Bulwell house and driven away in a car.

Twenty-two-year-old Alshauntia Robinson and Tafari Smith, aged 26, both of Shakespeare Street, Leicester, and Denell Baker, aged 23, of no fixed address, were charged and remanded into custody.

They are due to appear before Nottingham magistrates today.

A third man, aged 22, who was also arrested, has been released without further action.

The alleged victim, a 20-year-old man, received minor injuries during the incident last Wednesday.

He is said to have been taken from the home on Broad Eadow Road, off Snape Wood Road, at around 4pm, and was found on a Leicester street in the early hours of Thursday.
