A car stuck on the tram lines in Lenton caused delays on Wednesday morning.
The 4×4 style car was wedged on the line at Lenton Lane bridge.
Tran operator NET apologised to passengers and said the vehicle had appeared around 8.30am.
Trams from Toton Lane to University Boulevard with some passengers turning to Twitter to vent their anger at being stuck on services.
NET said the vehicle had been cleared by 9.30am and services are now running as normal.
