Tributes left after toddler struck by car near Capital FM Arena dies

A two-year-old who was hit by a car in Bolero Square has died. Hundreds of Nottingham people left messages of support for the family.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the scene of the collision in Bolero Square close to Capital FM Arena after the toddler was struck by a car.

The girl was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre after the incident but died later that day.

Police are still investigating the incident but no arrests have been made.

Hundreds of messages of support have been posted to the family online, one said: “So heartbreaking, my thoughts and prayers are with them.”
