Two people have been taken to hospital after a road accident in Carlton.
Two cars and a pedestrian were involved in the incident on Cavendish Road at around 8.40am.
Ambulance crews and Notts Police were called to the scene and the road is still closed in both directions.
Police said the pedestrian and a driver from one of the cars were hurt in the incident. They have been taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries which are not thought to be serious.
No arrests have been made and anyone who saw what happened is being asked to contact Notts Police on 101.
NCT number 27 buses cannot use the road and are being diverted.
