Two teenagers seriously hurt in city stabbing

Two teenagers have been seriously hurt after being stabbed in the city centre.

The male victims, aged 15 and 18, were attacked in North Sherwood Street, close to the east entrance to the Arboretum, at around 7pm on Monday.

They were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with serious injuries.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident.

North Sherwood Street has been closed off by police and the east entrance to the Arboretum is also taped off.

Police are asking for anyone who saw what happened or anyone who has any information  to call 101 quoting incident 750 of July 4.
