Two teenagers taken to hospital after stabbing in Attenborough

A teenage boy and girl were taken to hospital with stab wounds after an attack in Attenborough.

Police were called to the incident on Long Lane at around 4.30pm. A boy aged 16 and a girl aged 14 were injured. The extent of their injuries was not clear at the time, officers said.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A Notts Police spokesman said: “Officers remain at the scene this evening (Monday), although they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”

Long Lane runs from Attenborough Station, near the centre of the village, east towards Chilwell Manor Golf Course.
