Forest forward Jamie Ward spoke to Notts TV about his time at the Euros and what he is hoping he can bring to the Reds’ new campaign.
In his first interview since coming back from the Euros, the Northern Irish international was effusive in his praise for his country’s team spirit and is looking forward to the new season.
Northern Ireland were knocked out in the second round of the 2016 Euros by Wales.

Jamie Ward said: “The summer was fantastic and a great experience for myself and for the team as I went out and enjoyed every game I played.
“I was delighted with my contribution, especially having gone into the tournament with very little game time.
“It was disappointing to get knocked out in the second round but the aim is to bring back a bit of experience from the tournament and bring it back to league football.”
