Video: The original musical Jungle Book is set to premiere at Lakeside Theatre Arts
The original musical of Jungle Book is set to premiere at the Lakeside Theatre Arts next month.
Performances will start on Wednesday July 12 which run until Sunday July 23 with each show lasting for around two hours.
Jungle Book tells the story of an infant called Mowgli who is trying to survive in a terrifying but wonderful new world to him.
Director Martin Berry said: “There is an amazing amateur theatre scene in Nottingham.
“We felt there might be a space for smaller productions than what the operatics do led by a professional team brought in to share their skill sets.
“They said to people, come along, audition, it will be great fun and they will get a lot out of it having learnt a load of stuff on how the professionals put it together.
“The rehearsal process and its intensity is a big part of that.”
