Thousands of students across Nottinghamshire have been finding out their A-Level grades and whether or not they have a place at their desired university.
Students collecting results could find out from 8am today (Thursday August 17) if they got into their chosen university or into further education.
Those who aren’t offered a place can search for vacancies through UCAS’ clearing service.

Students at Worksop College have also been celebrating, with one student, Will Hayman, 18, becoming the first person in his family to go to university – and he’ll study English Literature at Oxford after securing three A grades.
His Mum, April Hayman, said: “We’re just elated and so pleased for him – I honestly do not think he’d be here if it wasn’t for the support he’s received.
“Right from when he joined at Ranby House, through to now, everything has been focused on ensuring Will fulfils his potential.”

Confetti’s school engagement manager Barry Mallon has urged students not to panic if grades don’t come back as expected.
Speaking on Notts Tonight on Wednesday (August 16), he said: “The important thing to remember as well is you’re not alone – there are thousands of people in the same situation.
“There’s nothing to worry about – whatever the outcome that student have in terms of their grades, there is always something for them.”
