Forecasters have issued a weather warning for parts of Nottinghamshire as cold, icy weather arrives from northern England.
The Met Office says there is a risk of ice and even snow in areas towards the Lincolnshire border today.
Drivers are being warned to take extra care and people are advised to wrap up warm and be prepared for the chance of snow showers.
A Met Office forecaster said: “Ice will be an additional hazard, particularly where skies are clear after overnight showers.
“Please be aware of the potential for difficult driving conditions.”
Temperatures could drop as low as 0C across the county today, with highs of just 5C.
The risk of ice and snow is expected to fall in the afternoon.
Monday is also expected to be clear but cold across Notts, and temperatures are again expected to dip to freezing or below.
