Who is Peter Taylor?

Nottingham Forest, Training

Nottingham Forest are planning to rename the Main Stand at the City Ground after former Assistant Manager Peter Taylor.

Taylor joined Nottingham Forest in 1976 and worked alongside Brian Clough until 1982, helping the club to climb out of the Second Division and win the title.

Although it was Brian Clough who often grabbed the media attention to his outspoken and charismatic nature, Taylor’s involvement in the clubs success never went unnoticed.

Reds owner Fawaz Al Hawsawi has now announced that Taylor’s contributions will be honoured by the renaming of the stand opposite the Brian Clough stand at the stadium.
