Woman dies after being hit by bus with road closure in place

A woman has died following a collision with a bus in Newark with London Road closed while investigations continue.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to London Road at the junction with Bowbridge Road at around 9.40am this morning (Monday June 18).

The woman died at the scene.

The road remains closed while the Serious Investigation Unit carry out their investigation.
