Detectives have charged a 41-year-old man with the murder of Carlton man Tony Fisher.
Marcus Barton, 41, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, was charged late on Saturday.
Barton, who also uses the name Marcus Pegg, remains in police custody and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Mr Fisher was found stabbed to death at his home in Coningswath Road on Saturday, January 9.
A police spokesman said: “His family have been informed of the developments.
“Officers would like to thank members of the public who have helped them during their investigation and are still keen to speak to anyone who knows anything about the incident.”
