Police release images of cars whose drivers may have seen fatal Sutton-in-Ashfield crash

Notts Police have released images of two cars whose drivers may have witnessed a fatal crash in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Police named the cyclist as Jordan Gregory, 24, from Sutton-in-Ashfield, who died at the scene.

Officers were called to reports of a serious crash on Station Road at around 2pm on Wednesday (August 9).

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision, specifically the drivers of a small red car, believed to be a Vauxhall Tigra and a small blue car, believed to be a Suzuki Swift.

It is thought they were around the junction of Station Road and A38 at the time of the collision and the occupants may be able to help us understand what happened.
