Highfields hosts National series first round of touch rugby

Nottingham Touch rugby club hosted the first round of the National series on Saturday, which saw the England touch players compete against each other.

The event took place at The University of Nottingham, usually the players are supporting each other as a team but this time they were playing against each other on the field.

There was around 28 teams which totalled up to approximately 400 rugby players. This was the first game since the England touch players competed in the Touch World Cup, which was held in Australia last month.
