The Tap & Run recently won “Best Casual Dining Experience” at the Leicestershire Tourism and Hospitality Awards 2019.

Owned by England cricketers Stuart Broad and Harry Gurney, alongside their friend and publican Dan Cramp, the Tap & Run was subject to an extensive £350,000 renovation and extension in 2018 and began trading in September of that year.

Situated ten miles from West Bridgford and eight miles from Melton Mowbray in the picturesque country village of Upper Broughton, the Tap & Run is a gastro pub of the highest quality, to which their recent award win is testament.

In the winter months there is nowhere better to sit with a glass of ale or red wine than by the log burning stove which is lit and maintained all day every day. When dining, the beautiful botanical garden room is a hit with all customers. In the warmer months the terrace and garden is packed with people enjoying the sunshine and views of the church yard.
