After 25 years in the industry, 16 as an educator, Sid Sottung has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by opening his very own academy. Turning his full attention to inspiring and teaching the next generation of barbers and hairdressers.

Having travelled the globe educating for Vidal Sassoon and other leading names, writing curriculums for other academies Sid felt now was the time to open the doors to his own academy. Sid Sottung Academy in Nottingham opened in February 2014, striving to push the boundaries of hairdressing and barbering education.

Sid Sottung Academy is dedicated to the provision of high-quality elite training and ability to proudly offer the finest in barbering tuition. The academy offers a rare opportunity to study directly under the tutorage of an internationally recognised educators.

The aim as an academy is to provide all the students with the skills, confidence and knowledge to go and to make their own unique mark in the world of hair.
