Boy, 15, fighting for life after Carlton crash

A 15-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after he was struck by a car in Carlton.

Police are investigating the incident, which happened on Carlton Road, close to the junction with St Matthias Road, at around 11:30pm on Thursday, October 22.

The driver was a 32-year-old woman, who has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, failing to stop and dangerous driving.

The boy is in the Queen’s Medical Centre with life-threatening injuries and is in a serious condition.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the car involved, a dark-coloured Peugeot, before the crash, is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1009 of October 22.
